Human Recombinant Protein Specification

Description: The S100 family of proteins contain two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs and are thought to be involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes including cell cycle progression and differentiation. This protein may function in motility, invasion and tubulin polymerisation. RANDOX recombinant human S100A11 is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Form: Liquid. Supplied in 1x Laemmli Buffer (25mM Tris-HCl pH6.8, 50mM DTT, 1%(w/v) SDS, 0.1%(w/v) Bromophenol Blue, 2.5% Glycerol).
Molecular Weight: 17 kDa
Purity: 2 bands on Western blot at 17 and 34 kDa, respectively representing monomeric and dimeric form
