| Description: |
IFN gamma is a potent multifunctional cytokine primarily
produced by T cells and natural killer cells. IFN gamma
exerts a variety of antiproliferative, immunoregulatory and
pro-inflammatory biological activities in response to
binding at specific cell surface receptors.
RANDOX recombinant IFN gamma comprises a 143
amino acid fragment (24-166) corresponding to the
mature soluble IFN gamma chain protein and is
expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine
tag. This product is for research use only and is not
intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
