| Description: |
GM-CSF is a potent species-specific growth factor
produced by a variety of cell types including T cells, B
cells, macrophages, mast cells and endothelial cells.
GM-CSF is produced in response to cytokine or immune
stimulation and has been shown to stimulate the
proliferation, maturation and function of hematopoietic
cells. RANDOX recombinant GM-CSF comprises a 127
amino acid fragment (18-144) corresponding to the
mature GM-CSF protein and is expressed in E. coli with
an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is for
research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or
therapeutic use.
