Eotaxin / CCL11 is a member of the beta (C-C) motif
chemokine family of inflammatory and immunoregulatory
cytokines. Eotaxin is a potent and selective
chemoattractant for eosinophils, but not monocytes,
lymphocytes or neutrophils and is primarily produced by
epithelial and phagocytic cells.
RANDOX recombinant Eotaxin comprises a 74 amino
acid fragment (24-87) corresponding to the mature
Eotaxin protein and is expressed in E. coli with an aminoterminal
hexahistidine tag. This product is for research
use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic
use.
