Human Recombinant Protein Specification

Description: Paraoxonase-1 is involved in the detoxification of organophosphate insecticides such as parathion. Paraoxonase-1 may also confer protection against coronary artery disease by destroying pro-inflammatory oxidized lipids present in oxidized low-density lipoproteins (LDL’s). RANDOX recombinant human PON1 is expressed in CHO-K1 cells with an carboxy-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
