HRP Tracer Specification

Description: Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid structurally related to other members of the opioid class(17) and derived from the opium alkaloid thebaine(18). It has both analgesic and anti-tussive properties(19) and has been used for the treatment of moderate to severe postoperative or cancer related pain(20). In analgesic potency it is comparable to morphine with its most dangerous potential side-effect being respiratory depression(18). Fatalities due to oxycodone overdose are usually due to respiratory depression to the level of respiratory arrest(21).
DilnFactor: 640
Format: The conjugate is supplied as a concentrate. Dilute as required and use working strength conjugate immediately after dilution
Lot: OP048H
Specificity: Each conjugate comprises antigen covalently bound to horseradish peroxide and is suitable as a tracer in immunoassay development
Storage: +2-+8°C for up to 3 months / <20°C for long term storage
